Dear friends of "PiA - Physics in Advent",
"Physics in Advent" is one of numerous projects and offers which is organised by the German Physics Society (DPG) e.V. as non-profit organisation according to its charter. Further programs and projects in particular for school students and teachers can be found here themed "Physics is fun ... and everywhere" . Here you can also order our corresponding school posters for free.
Apart from that, essentially all physicists in Germany or organised in the DPG. They form "Fachverbände", pratice scientific exchange at annual spring conferences, organise school competitions and teachers trainings, and provide networks and connects between school students, university students and physicists in industry in order to provide insights into possible future developments of professional careers and help your decision making.
In DPG, students can become members for only 1,10 Euro per month, i.e. 13,- Euro membership fee per year. You obtain
- 11 issues of our members' magazine " Physik Journal " with exciting articles about modern research topics, results, recent discoveries and prizes delivered to your home address or online.
- You obtain full access to the archive of "Physik-Journal" , which is particularly useful for investigations and the preparation of presentations and reports at school.
- You can use our DPG-App and follow the latest developments in research, receive easily comprehensible physics articles for the general public, podcasts and movies.
